It’s been a while since I’ve been able to put paint and ink to paper, so I’ve been looking through some of my work trying to find a vibe for the start of autumn. This watercolour and ink painting gives the feeling, as it’s just glorious weather here still! I hope this doesn’t mean we will have a long cold winter… A4 watercolour paper, ink brush pen and watercolour paints. All art for sale, message me if you would like the original work.
My weekly explosion of random abstract art is here once again. I bet you are all starting to love Thursdays now… Hehe. Again I’ve been working with watercolour and ink on watercolour paper. Gone for a more spring vibe, with the daffodils starting to flower and the leaves forming on the trees again. Finally the sun is trying it’s best to warm the UK up too, between rain and wind. Here are five of my favourites. If you like any of them and think ‘ohh, that’ll look good on my wall’ then get in touch! I will happily swap for art materials or a virtual cup of coffee (cold hard cash…), lady gotta keep her caffeine habit strong! Hope you enjoy a gander through the colours and foliage!
Thought I would start a weekly round up of arty things I’ve done. Gives me something to look back on and hopefully gives you all a smile. I have been obsessed with watercolour and black ink for a while now, and during furlough I’ve made about 50 of these paintings. If there is one you like give me a shout as they are all in need of good homes! It’s all been a bit circles and triangles this week!
Time to get some of my other creative ideas up on Squeeb Creative! I’ve never been comfortable with my own voice or name so I’ve decided to just shut her down everywhere. Having two different websites and social media things was exhausting, so one coin toss later and 15 years of online Shelly Still has gone. I want to get deeper into my art and music, not keep being so shallow with my attention everywhere. So, it’s probably going to get a bit confusing on this site. Hope you can all keep up!
